Terms of Service

The Connecticut Humanities Network (CTHN) is a platform for Connecticut Humanities to connect with its partners and other organizations throughout Connecticut in one space with the purpose of sharing ideas and posting updates. We strive to create a respectful, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all partners. We have established the following code of conduct to manage the behavior of all members on the network.

Posting conduct:

Be respectful and considerate of other members of the network. Treat all members of the network with respect, regardless of their race, ethnicity, indigeneity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, cultural background, and socioeconomic stratum. Please avoid offensive or inappropriate language, including language that is harassing, discriminatory, or inflammatory.

Personal Privacy:

Do not share personal information about yourself or others without their consent. We might want to share our work and personal updates in our profile, but remember this is a working group, others in your organization and anyone who is part of the network will see these posts.

Working on projects:

Keep working group discussions focused on the project. Feel free to post work updates and other projects to your own feed, but know they are public to the entire CTHN. Also please keep in mind where you are posting. Only posts in “private groups” will be hidden from the larger network.

If you see a violation of this code of conduct, please report it to the administrator of your group and to Khalil Quotap (kquotap@cthumanities.org)

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend or terminate the membership of any member who violates this code of conduct. Keep in mind as you use this network it will be open to our community, so new partners will be joining and will see any content that you post. Thank you for helping to create a respectful and inclusive community on the Connecticut Humanities Network.
